DIY facial paper mask
Coming back from a trip to cold Amsterdam and Munich, my skin is quite dry! So I decided to take care of it with some DIY goodies.
Finally trying out the DIY paper mask. I got these compressed paper mask from local $2 shop called Daiso.
I mixed about a tablespoon of witch hazel and organic honey each, with 2 teaspoon of sweet almond oil, and a few drops of myrrh, melrose, Jade lemon and lavender each to the mixture.
Soak it up with the compressed paper mask.
Leave it on skin for 10-15 mins. Wash off if it's during day time to avoid sun damages as it has lemon oil in it (photosensitive), but you can just massage the rest onto the face if you do it at night before bed, very moist. And the jade lemon and honey combo is just so 'yummy'!!!
You can be more experimental, trying different oils combinations for different needs of your skin.
For instance, if you have acne prone skin, you can try lemon with Purification(TM) or Tea Tree oil, or Helichrysum.
For oily or combination skin, you could try Ylang Ylang, German Chamomile (it's blue, so will turn your mask blue), Hawaii Sandalwood and Lavender.
For dry skin with fine lines, Myrrh, Geranium and Frankincense would be good options.
Play around and test it out. :)
